Clock “Freebird Badass” – PROGETTI

Designed by Gerardo Marì, Freebird Badass represents the most irreverent and unconventional spirit of the Freebird project. In this version, the cuckoo breaks definitively with tradition, transforming into a bold, provocative and strongly characterful figure.

The protagonist bird wears a hat and black glasses, symbols of independence and nonchalance. Time becomes a game and a declaration of style. In some interpretations of the Badass version, the character takes on a punk attitude, with a black mohawk and a spray can, with which it has written on the dial the phrase “time for fun”, an ironic manifesto that subverts daily routine.

The pendulum becomes part of the scene: the bird rides it or leans against it in dynamic poses, creating a strong and theatrical visual narrative. The clock case, made in wood painted with non-toxic paints, is available in bold colours – white, black, light blue, blue and red – with hands and dial designed to create complementary chromatic contrasts. The black pendulum reinforces the graphic impact and identity of the project.

The high-quality German-made battery-powered quartz movement ensures precision and reliability, combining technical content and expressive power.
