The Re-Form console by WEWOOD, designed by Alain Gilles in 2024, represents a natural extension of the Re-Form coffee | side tables collection and further explores its concept of formation, transformation and composition.
The design originates from the idea of bringing together distinct, apparently independent elements to create new and coherent configurations. The two available modules can be used separately or placed together to generate more articulated compositions.
Two Modules, Multiple Possibilities
Re-Form is available in two sizes, Small and Large.
Each module is designed to function as an independent element, but the true strength of the concept emerges when the two are combined.
The difference in depth makes it possible to create visually interesting overlaps and juxtapositions, transforming the console into a dynamic composition.
This modularity allows Re-Form to adapt to different spaces and makes it possible to modify the way it is used over time.
Straight Lines and Soft Curves
One of the most distinctive aspects of Re-Form is the relationship between geometry and fluidity.
Straight lines define the structure and bring order to the composition, while softer curves lighten the design and introduce a sense of movement.
This balance between rigidity and softness creates a refined visual presence, capable of attracting attention without appearing excessive.
A Console with a Sculptural Character
The form of Re-Form is not conceived solely in functional terms.
The design explores the perception of volumes and the relationship between solids, voids and curves, transforming the console into an almost sculptural element.
Used individually, it maintains an essential presence; when two modules are combined, it takes on a more striking character, ideal for entrance halls, living rooms, corridors and representative spaces.
Versatile in Contemporary Interiors
Thanks to its clean and timeless language, Re-Form can be integrated into different settings, from minimalist interiors to more eclectic environments.
It can be used as:
- entrance console;
- decorative element;
- supporting surface;
- modular composition;
- furnishing accessory for living rooms or bedrooms.
The possibility of combining the modules allows the configuration to be adapted to the proportions of the wall and the desired function.
Re-Form therefore interprets the console as an open and transformable system in which function, form and composition coexist in balance.
