Rug “Edge” – KARPETA

The Edge rug, designed by Sans Nom, belongs to the “Collage by Sans Nom” collection, a project that reinterprets the art of collage by transforming it into a contemporary textile language. The eight rugs in the series draw inspiration from natural earth pigments, expressed through a warm, grounded palette that includes ochre, terracotta, deep browns, sand tones and softer shades such as beige and powder grey.

The interaction between soft colours and more decisive accents — such as rust red and dark brown — creates a perfectly balanced visual tension, capable of conveying both strength and serenity. Each rug unfolds like a collage of textures, where sculpted sections, three-dimensional details and forms suggested by recomposed fragments build a dynamic and organic surface.

Crafted using the tufted technique, Edge combines New Zealand wool (90%) with cotton (10%), materials that ensure softness, relief definition and durability. The artisanal workmanship enhances the sculptural character of the design, while the interplay of depth and volume gives the rug a rich and refined aesthetic.

Available in two standard sizes, the model can be fully adapted to specific projects thanks to the possibility of customizing dimensions, shape and colour, expanding compositional freedom and spatial integration.
