“Bowie” sofa with metal and solid wood frame – WEWOOD

The Bowie sofa by WEWOOD, designed by Gonçalo Campos in 2017, originates from the combination of an essential aesthetic and particular attention to comfort.

Its soft, balanced shapes are designed to integrate naturally into both residential interiors and hospitality spaces, including lounges, offices and hotel lobbies.

Available in several configurations, from the single seat to the three-seater sofa, Bowie makes it possible to create coordinated solutions proportioned to the dimensions of the room.

Metal and solid wood

The sofa frame combines two materials with complementary characteristics: the visual lightness of metal and the strength of solid wood.

The distinctive detail of the design is the connection between these two materials. The joint between the metal frame and the wooden elements creates a discreet yet recognisable contrast that enriches the silhouette without making the design appear heavy.

The clean lines and minimalist profile allow the quality of the materials and the balance of the proportions to take centre stage, making Bowie a refined sofa that can be easily integrated into different furnishing contexts.

Memory foam comfort

The seats feature memory foam cushioning, designed to provide a soft and welcoming feel while preserving their original shape and volume over time.

The combination of support and softness makes Bowie suitable both for everyday relaxation and for environments where seating is used more frequently.

Its generous proportions provide space and comfort in every version, from the single armchair to the larger three-seater sofa.

Different coordinated configurations

The Bowie collection includes:

• single-seater armchair;
• two-seater sofa;
• three-seater sofa;
• matching ottoman.

The different configurations can be used individually or combined to create a complete and coordinated conversation area.

The ottoman can be used as additional seating, a footrest or a complementary element positioned in front of the sofa, increasing the flexibility of the composition.

For residential and contract interiors

Thanks to its understated design and variety of sizes, Bowie can furnish contemporary living rooms, professional studios, offices, lounge areas and hospitality spaces.

Its balanced aesthetic integrates easily into both minimalist interiors and richer, more eclectic settings, maintaining an elegant and timeless presence.

Bowie thus interprets the sofa as a comfortable and functional element that also enhances the space through a refined use of materials and construction details.
