The Raia table by WEWOOD, designed by Studio Gud in 2012, originates from the meeting of traditional craftsmanship, construction precision and contemporary production technologies.
Despite the solidity of its structure, Raia maintains a visually light and elegant presence, characterized by clean lines and balanced proportions that allow it to integrate easily into different interior settings.
The attention to detail and precision of the workmanship give the table a refined character, in which aesthetics and functionality are developed coherently.
Craftsmanship and Technology
One of Raia’s distinctive features is the integration of wood craftsmanship and advanced production technologies.
The precision of the manufacturing processes allows joints, surfaces and proportions to be carefully controlled, while artisanal workmanship enhances the natural character of the material.
The result is an essential yet carefully constructed table, designed to offer strength and durability without sacrificing a visually light silhouette.
An Essential and Versatile Design
Raia is conceived as an element capable of adapting to different functions.
It can be used as:
- dining table;
- desk;
- work or study table.
The simplicity of its lines allows it to transition naturally from a domestic environment to a professional space, always maintaining an elegant and discreet identity.
This versatility makes Raia particularly suitable for contemporary interiors, where the same furnishing element can take on different functions over time.
For the Dining Area and Workspace
In the dining area, Raia offers a spacious and regular surface, ideal for convivial moments and everyday use.
In a study or office, it can instead become a generously proportioned desk, keeping the worktop visually clear and the structure essential.
The two available sizes make it possible to choose the format best suited to the characteristics of the space and the desired function.
Two Available Sizes
Raia is available in two configurations:
- 180 × 95 cm
- 200 × 100 cm
Both maintain a height of 75 cm, a proportion suitable both for dining use and as a work table.
Raia therefore interprets the table as an element that is only apparently simple, in which construction quality, versatility and formal lightness coexist in balance.

Raia reflects this approach through a solid yet visually light structure, capable of adapting to different uses and environments.
