There the IPERCUBO armchair by DRIADE is the re-edition of the famous chair designed by De Pas, D'Urbino, Lomazzi and originally presented by Driade in the 1972.
The project stems from the desire to create an armchair characterized by extreme geometric simplicity and formal cleanliness., without giving up a soft, deep and welcoming seat.
Behind the apparently rigid appearance of the volume lies a structure designed to adapt to the body. The plywood interior panels are combined with differentiated density viscoelastic foams, designed to offer exceptional comfort.
A distinctive feature of IPERCUBO is the particular discontinuity of the seat surface: a vertical cut allows the surface to deform slightly under the weight of the person, increasing the perceived depth of the seat and transforming the sides of the chair into two comfortable armrests.
The upholstery is fixed and is available in fabric or leather. The configuration identified by the code D91168A700 refers to bonifacio cotton Cat. A.
A project with an essential and radical character that still retains a strong contemporary feel today.
