Designed by Studio Kuadra, Birdwatching invites us to observe time the way one watches birds in the woods: with curiosity, attention, and a contemplative spirit. This tabletop cuckoo clock is conceived to furnish desks, shelves, and cabinets, both in domestic and professional environments, becoming a distinctive and narrative element.
The observation hut, made of wood, hosts two birdwatcher silhouettes intent on taking photographs, while the little bird hides among the tree branches, creating an ironic and poetic scene. The natural element is emphasized by the tree entirely covered in stabilized lichen, a living yet stable material that can also be used in indoor environments without natural light, without undergoing changes over time.
The cuckoo movement, of high-quality German engineering, is powered by two batteries and equipped with a photosensitive sensor that automatically deactivates the chime in the absence of light. An integrated control panel allows the adjustment of sound intensity or complete muting, offering maximum freedom of use.
Birdwatching is a clock that goes beyond function, transforming into a small decorative installation capable of telling a story of nature, design, and irony.
