Clock “Fatti + in là” – PROGETTI

Designed by Andrea Grattaroli for Studio Kuadra, Fatti + in là originates from the evocative image of a row of little birds perched on a ledge. Among them, only one—the cuckoo—finds the space to emerge from its little house, stepping forward with discretion yet determination.

Simple in concept yet highly elegant, the project is composed of twenty-two wooden birds, entirely handmade, aligned on two perfectly proportioned volumes. The twenty-third bird, protagonist of the cuckoo mechanism, sings once every hour, leaning forward with a gentle bow—an endearing gesture that adds poetry and movement to the whole.

The clock can be wall-mounted or placed on a surface, offering versatile use. Time is marked by two slender, essential, and lightweight hands. There are two color variants: black with white hands or white with black hands, both designed to enhance graphic contrast and the project’s visual clarity.

Made of wood finished with non-toxic coatings, Fatti + in là is completed with a metal back panel that facilitates wall mounting and enhances construction quality. The battery-powered cuckoo movement is equipped with a photosensitive sensor that deactivates the chime in the absence of light, while an integrated control panel allows adjustment of the sound intensity or complete muting.

A clock that combines narrative design, irony, and precise planning, transforming time into a gentle and surprising gesture.
