Clock “Freebird Punk” – PROGETTI

Designed by Gerardo Marì, Freebird Punk represents the boldest and most rebellious interpretation of the Freebird project. In this version, the little bird becomes a true symbol of creative protest, embodying the punk spirit with irony and expressive power.

The protagonist sports a black mohawk and holds a spray can, with which it has just written the phrase “time for fun” on the dial—a deliberately irreverent gesture that subverts the traditional concept of time and punctuality. The cuckoo emerges from its house with a fearless attitude, transforming the clock mechanism into a narrative scene of strong visual impact.

The house, made of painted wood with non-toxic coatings, is offered in a dark and bold finish that emphasizes the graphic contrast with the dial and the red lettering. The black pendulum, an iconic element of the project, completes the composition with a sharp and minimal presence, reinforcing the urban and contemporary aesthetic of the Punk version.

The high-quality German-made battery-powered quartz movement guarantees precision and reliability, balancing the expressive charge of the design with solid and durable technical content.
