Designed by Alessia Gasperi, Time2Play stems from the desire to tell time in an ironic and theatrical way, transforming the clock into a small moving scene. The project introduces a playful and narrative language, able to engage both adults and children.
The protagonists of the dial are the little figures clinging to the hands, performing like circus trapeze artists, suspended in space as time flows. This detail makes the clock dynamic and surprising, turning it into a decorative element that captures the eye and stimulates the imagination.
The structure is made of wood, a warm and natural material that balances the playful character of the project with a harmonious and reassuring presence. The battery-powered quartz movement ensures precision and reliability, making Time2Play suitable for everyday use.
