Designer

Christian Haas is a German industrial designer born in 1974, founder of his own studio in 2000 and currently based in Porto, Portugal.

His work spans different disciplines, from furniture design and lighting to porcelain and glass objects.

His design approach seeks a balance between simplicity, elegance, functionality, durability and expressiveness, developing products characterized by restrained forms and carefully enhanced materials.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with international brands including Rosenthal, Karakter, Arita2016 and Tecta, receiving awards such as the Red Dot Design Award and the Elle Decoration International Design Award.

Triplex expresses this language through an essential and functional structure in which each level contributes to practicality without compromising the overall visual lightness of the design.
