Chlorophilia 2 further develops the optical and compositional principle of the Chlorophilia family, transforming it into an even more complex and scenographic presence.
The project by Ross Lovegrove was born from the encounter between organic forms, artificial geometries, and lighting technology. The central body integrates a LED COB and also acts as a heat sink, while the transparent phytomorphic elements are made of molded technopolymer..
The surfaces, modeled through soft undulations and discontinuous sections, work optically like lenses: the indirect light emitted by the central body is filtered, refracted, and multiplied, generating delicate projections on the ceiling and the surrounding space.
The distinctive feature of Chlorophilia 2 is the presence of two overlapping levels of transparent elements, which increase the depth, volume, and richness of the lighting effect compared to the standard version.
The result is a lightweight yet highly decorative suspension lamp, capable of creating an ethereal and dynamic atmosphere through the relationship between light, transparency, and shadow.
