Nesso represents one of the progetti most emblematic of Italian design from the 1960s, a period in which the introduction of plastics and new production processes profoundly transformed the domestic landscape.

Designed by Designed by Giancarlo Mattioli and the Città Nuova Urban Architects Group,Nesso interprets industrial technology through a fluid, nature-inspired form. The large curved diffuser and central base create an organic and highly expressive silhouette, transforming the lamp into a true furnishing element.

The body and diffuser are made of technopolymer, a material that allows for seamless surfaces, soft volumes, and harmonious proportions. The result is an object with a strong visual presence, recognizable from every angle and capable of fitting into both contemporary and more eclectic interiors.

Compared to the more compact Nessino, Nesso is larger in size and has a more pronounced visual impact. It is particularly suitable for consoles, sideboards, side tables, and surfaces where it can also be enhanced as a decorative element.
