Alfa holds a special place in the history of Artemide: designed by Sergio Mazza in 1959,it was the first lamp included in the company's catalog and is still in production today.
The project starts from the traditional typology of the bedside lamp and transforms it through a more refined and architectural choice of materials.
The speaker in worked crystal visually recalls the pleating of fabric lampshades, creating an elegant and timeless material effect. The base in black marble and the stem in brass complete the composition with a precious and sophisticated character.
Alfa is therefore a decorative lamp that combines historical memory, quality materials, and classic proportions, suitable for bedside tables, consoles, desks, and elegant living spaces.
