Mattress “Nuvola” – LORDFLEX'S

The “Nuvola” mattress by Lordflex’s is designed to provide balanced orthopedic support thanks to a medium-support Bonnel system, a construction technology based on biconical springs made of tempered carbon steel. The tempering of the wire is essential to give the steel strength and resistance to deformation. In the double version, the spring system consists of approximately 450 springs connected by steel helicals, ensuring continuous support and a constant elastic response.

The padding follows a natural seasonal logic. The winter side features a light-colored padding in thermoregulating wool blend, designed to retain heat and maintain a comfortable sleeping climate. The summer side, on the other hand, uses thermo-diffusive cotton, which promotes heat dissipation, ensuring freshness and ventilation.

The choice of natural materials reflects a construction philosophy focused on physiological thermoregulation: wool retains heat during colder months, while cotton disperses it in warmer seasons, helping to maintain stable body temperature.

The outer cover is made of cotton, a naturally breathable fiber capable of absorbing moisture and promoting air circulation, improving sleep hygiene. Supporting the internal structure is a perimeter box system in high-density Polycell, non-deformable and micro-perforated, which reinforces the edges, reduces deformation and contributes to long-term durability.

The box structure also improves internal surface stability, minimizing structural stress on the spring system. The use of non-toxic, hypoallergenic hot-melt adhesives ensures a healthy environment, free from harmful emissions and resistant to the proliferation of fungi and bacteria. The entire structure uses breathable materials, preventing moisture stagnation and promoting ideal ventilation.

The mattress has a total thickness of 21 cm, designed to ensure balanced support and a natural comfort feel throughout the year.
