Rug “(UN)Fold” – KARPETA

The (UN)Fold rug draws inspiration from the language of folding, a technique widely used in fashion to create volumes, silhouettes and moving surfaces. This aesthetic logic is reinterpreted through the combination of yarns with different levels of sheen, generating a visual interplay in which folds orient themselves in multiple directions, creating depth and harmonious three-dimensionality.

Handloom woven, the rug features a composition of 60% polyester and 40% jute, a choice that combines durability, flexibility and a pleasant natural tactility. The surface, rich in luminous variations, offers dynamic readings depending on the angle of light.

The two available standard sizes allow easy integration into interior projects, while the possibility of customizing dimensions, shape and colour further expands the creative potential of the model. The Natural colour variant highlights the balance between textures and materials, reinforcing the perception of artisanal authenticity.

The (UN)Fold model also meets international safety and quality requirements, having passed nitrogen-free tests according to REACH SVHC criteria and complying with flammability standards CAN/CGSB-4.2 NO 27.6, CAN/CGSB-4.155-M88 and 16 CFR 1631 for textile floor coverings.
