The sofa “33 Cuscini” – DRIADE is born from the design vision of Paolo Rizzatto, who transforms the traditional concept of the sofa into a soft and innovative architectural system. The project takes shape from an essential reflection: how many cushions does it take to build a sofa? The designer’s answer is as simple as it is revolutionary: thirty-three.
In this unique interpretation of contemporary comfort, the cushions no longer represent a simple complement, but become the primary structural element of the entire piece. Each module retains its own visual identity and contributes to the creation of a refined contemporary macro-capitonné, characterised by generous proportions and a strong scenic presence.
The steel structure and curved steel feet ensure solidity and aesthetic lightness, whilst the polyurethane foam padding provides an enveloping and relaxing comfort. The removable fabric upholstery adds practicality and versatility, further enhancing the design quality of the product.
